Refund and Returns Policy

FireSak Disclaimer:

This FireSak is not to be considered a ‘life safety’ product. Proper use of this FireSak does not eliminate the risk of damage due to fire, smoke, or otherwise. Under no circumstances shall FireSak, its affiliates, partners, creator, or suppliers be found liable for any damages or injury resulting from the use of the FireSak. By use of this product the user assumes all liability.   

NOTE: The FireSak is not a perfect fire solution. It is meant to act as one of your many layers of defense against lithium fires. You should not assume you are safe just because your battery is in a FireSak. Surrounding materials can still catch fire if not properly protected. The bag has only been tested on batteries less than 2000 watt hours. We never recommend charging batteries with known damage, defects, or water exposure.

 

Refunds

Refunds will be offered on a case by case basis within a 30 day window of customer receiving a product. If a refund or return is approved, buyer must pay return shipping. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days. In the case of approved exchanges due to cosmetic or manufacturer defects, we can only offer an exact product replacement. Exchanges for a product of lesser value than the original purchase will incur the full cost of the original product and no partial refunds will be given. 

Late or missing refunds

If you have received notification from us via email that your refund has been initiated, please wait for your bank to receive and process the refund. This can take up to 10 days. If your refund has not posted after 10 days please reach out to us again and we will verify the refund call number and follow up with your payment processor. 

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Sizes of each product are listed on the product page. Refunds for ‘wrong size ordered’ will not be given. Please use the Contact Us page to initiate an exchange, refund, or return. 

Shipping returns

All returns must be packed in a similar sized form factor in which they were sent. Product must be received by us without any unnecessary damage incurred by poor packing. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. Up to 7 business days. 

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
