  • Not a Life Safety product

This product is sold as a containment aid only. It is NOT a life safety device, nor is it a fire suppression system. While the FireSak is constructed completely with materials that have are known to be resistant to heat and flames, it is not designed to prevent, stop, or extinguish a lithium polymer (LiPo) or lithium-ion battery fire. This product is intended to provide an additional layer of thermal resistance; however, even when used as intended it does not guarantee the safety of persons, pets, or property.

  • Assumption of Risk
  • Batteries can experience “thermal runaway,” leading to intense heat, toxic smoke, and high-pressure explosions.
  • In the event of a battery failure, this bag may fail to contain flames, heat, or pressure.
  • The bag itself may be destroyed, may melt, or may explode due to the extreme pressure generated by a failing battery.
  • You assume all risks associated with the storage, charging, and transport of lithium batteries.
  • This includes but is not limited to:
    • Personal injury or death
    • Damage to real or personal property (home, vehicles, ect.)
    • Loss of data or business interruption
    • Failure of the product to perform as assumed or expected
  • No Warranties
    • This product is sold “AS IS.” GingerTechnologies LLC d.b.a. FireSak makes no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that this product will contain a fire or prevent damage under any specific circumstances.
  • Mandatory Safety Protocols
    • The use of this bag does not replace standard battery safety protocols. You agree to:
      • Never leave charging batteries unattended
      • Always charge batteries on a non-flammable surface (e.g., concrete or tile)
      • Immediately stop using any battery that appears swollen, damaged, or abormally hot
      • Never attempt to charge a damaged battery, or a battery that has been subject to ingress of water or other liquids
      • Only attempt to charge batteries with the original charger
